Dominy Family Cemetery Inscriptions Wilkinson County, GA

DOMINY FAMILY CEMETERY

LEAVING IRWINTON ON 441 SOUTH GOING TOWARDS DUBLIN.  AFTER ABOUT

10 MILES YOU WILL GO THROUGH A VERY SMALL COMMUNITY CALLED NICKLESVILLE.

FROM THE CAUTION LIGHT THERE AT NICKLESVILLE GO .9 MILES AND MAKE A

LEFT TURN ONTO JOHN SPEARS RD. (COUNTY ROAD 117).  THIS IS A VERY SMALL

COUNTRY ROAD AND IT LOOKS AS IF YOU ARE DRIVING DOWN SOMEONES DRIVEWAY!!

CONTINUE ON THIS SMALL ROAD FOR 1.6 MILES AND THE CEMETERY WILL BE ON

THE LEFT.

UPON ENTERING THE GATE, ROW #1 WILL BE TO THE FAR LEFT.  THE ROWS WILL

THEN MOVE LEFT TO RIGHT.   THE FIRST GRAVE IN EACH ROW WILL BE THE ONE

THAT IS NEAREST THE GATE SIDE OF THE CEMETERY.  AS WITH MOST OF THE

OLDER FAMILY CEMETERIES THAT I HAVE VISITED, THERE ARE SEVERAL SPACES

WITH NO MARKERS WHERE I AM CERTAIN THAT PEOPLE WERE BURIED.
